Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 110 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our members, apprentices, contractors, and website visitors. When you share information with us, we want you to be clear on how we’re using it and the ways in which you can protect your privacy.

  • Membership Data: Union Book/Card Numbers and login credentials used to access our secure, members-only portal.

  • Communication Records: When you contact us, we may keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing.

2. Accessing and Updating Your Personal Information

Whenever you use our services, we aim to provide you with access to your personal information. If that information is incorrect, we strive to give you ways to update it quickly, unless we must keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes.

  • When updating your personal information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request.

  • We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical.

3. Information Sharing & Mobile Data Protection

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations, and individuals outside of the UA Local 110 family and trusted partnerships unless one of the following circumstances applies:

  • SMS and Mobile Data Protection: Mobile information and phone numbers collected for SMS/text messaging purposes, including Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and member notifications, will not be shared, sold, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.

  • With Your Consent: We will share personal information outside of UA Local 110 when we have your explicit consent to do so. We require your explicit consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.

  • For External Processing: We provide personal information to our affiliates, benefit administrators, or other trusted businesses to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with strict confidentiality and security measures.

  • For Legal Reasons: We will share personal information if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of UA Local 110, our users, or the public.
